Why do this?

I got fed up looking for a voting solution that was quick and easy, needed no registration, didn't need to download megabytes of dependencies, worked on all devices including Android, iphones, PCs, and Macs without having to use an app store or need extra permissions, and didn't want to track the wazoo out of me. And that's just off the top of my head. Having had a spare couple of hours over the holiday period at the end of 2019, I thought I'd knock something together I wouldn't mind using myself.

This app isn't going to stop people from ballot stuffing if they really want to (it doesn't need cookies to work, and what if some of the team need to share a device?), but it's target is to help teams who trust each other run simple ballots on the tasks and ceremonies they're participating in.

The main idea is that you can set up a quick poll and share it amongst a temporally co-located group (like a team meeting or event) and get the result straight away -- no muss no fuss. Another motivation was that when I observed dot voting in real life, the last people to vote would tend to cluster around popular items -- they were (probably not deliberately) skewing the results. Being able to do a quick online poll should stop this happening.

Anyway, that's about it...
